Letter to Brian Paddick
Letter to DAC Brian Paddick, Scotland Yard
Commander Paddick,
New Scotland Yard,
Westminster,
London
Dear Commander Paddick,
JULY 7: CURATION AND ACCESSIBILITY OF EVIDENCE
I believe you to be an honourable, caring and intelligent person and I wish you and your colleagues nothing but good.
And also ...
I appeal to you and all your colleagues from the bottom of my heart to do all you can to take (if you have not done already) decisive and effective steps to ensure that the full evidence concerning 7-7 is kept safe and securely and then made available either to trusted and manifestly independent investigators (and any official inquiry) and/or posted on the internet (as Lord Hutton did in the course of his investigation).
Considering that many people (rightly or wrongly) do not believe Mr Blair (e.g. after the 45 mins claim and the more recent Downing St memos which have caused such a big stir in the US),
Considering that many people (rightly or wrongly) are cynical about the Met and even more fearful and suspicious about the secret services of Britian, the US and Israel (and can point to a recent academic tour de force called Nato's Secret Armies - Operation Gladio and Terrorism in Western Europe by Daniele Ganser, Frank Cass, London 2005, to document a shockingly large number of State and/or fascist terror atrocities blamed on opposition militants, often using planted material 'found' at their places, and sometimes involving the use of 'radical' 'pseudo-gangs' as Brigadier Kitson pioneered in Kenya),
Considering that secret services and/or fascist groups have been known to let off bombs in public places and attempt to frame non-perpatrators, but also seeing that (as with all religions and ideologies) Islamic fanatics do exist and some of these have also commited outrages against our worldwide motherland of peaceful community life, so that (as you yourself said a few weeks ago) we none of us should jump to conclusions about who did this particular set of outrages, and/or who - if anybody - was or may have been behind them,
Considering that it could only take another bomb (e.g. at a foootball match) and/or oil shortages (real or manipulated) for serious racist and intercommunal pogroms to become possible,
Considering that many Muslims feel unfairly scapegoated and held responsible for 9-11, albeit that the official story now lies in tatters - see Daily Mail 3-page article on Saturday 6th Aug, or www.911research.wtc7.net and many, many other books and websites (incidentally the issue of 9-11 is now very live at the highest level of the US military and also with the special prosecutor based in Chicago), and Considering the desperate need of this country for some healing which the anti-septic of open disclosure alone can provide, what possible public good can be served by not revealing:
a) the MOTION FOOTAGE FROM THE MANY CCTV CAMERAS in Luton, KingsCross mainline and Underground, the M1, etc - put them as so many playable files on a police website - which could then scotch conspiracy stories about the Luton photo being doctored;
b) the forensic reports on the kind of explosive used, putting an end to the unoffical story being changed every few days;
c) mobile phone and other records;
d) THE TUBE CARRIAGES - so as to scotch the two reports which say the bombs were underneath two of the carriages - in whose possession are these carriages, or have they been destroyed sharpish, as were the steel girders from Ground Zero;
e) London Transport records and those of its various contractors,
etc ????
At present the four official suspects have been tried by media.
Given that they are dead (or presumably dead) and that the PM has said there will be no inquiry (whose terms of reference could in any case be written in a way which presumes exactly that which many people feel needs to be established first, i.e. what happend on that terrible day) ... and given how keen the Met must be to live down its reputation (in some quarters) for racism (hardly helped by the Menendez execution) ...
wouldn't it be brilliant if you and your colleagues were to reassure Muslims and other people of good will (or even of not so good will - who also pay your salaries and who also need to be served) that everything is above board with this 7-7 investigation? As they say 'Justice must be seen to be done' ......
Yours sincerely, and for the truth, whatever it turns out to be,
Keith Mothersson,
aka K M Forrester-Paton (BA Hons)
P.S. Please let me know within (say) a week if you would you have any objection if I were to put this letter (and any reply you send) up on my www.julyseventh.co.uk? Also if I can help your investigation in any way, I'm not good at analytical thinking but I like to think I can think laterally.
